what will I need besides a sleepy wrap?

Alright, I have my sleepy wrap for my future little baby. But what other carrier should I get, for say, when the baby gets bigger? I hear that stretchy wraps dont work as well when the baby gets heavier. So what else should I get so Im ready to go? Preferably something cheap..

I would hold off until you get there. It's much easier to figure these things out once baby is here and you have some babywearing experience under your belt. Perhaps there's a babywearing meeting near you, or a LLL meeting with some experienced babywearers, so you can check out different styles of carriers. It will also give you lots of time to scope out places like www.thebabywearer.com for ideas of what appeals to you and deals on the for sale or trade forum. (There's a time/# posts minimum for posting there, so it's a good idea to start now!)
