DD has eczema flaring on her face particularly around her mouth and somewhat on her cheeks. She has always had a bit of red cheeks that did go away briefly recently. I never thought the red cheeks were allergy related, now I think it may be. She has a patch of eczema in the right corner of her mouth that will flare from time to time. But I have never seen her get it all around her mouth. Is this an indication that it is probably contact related? Or maybe something she is eating? Thanks.

Her eczema is HORRIBLE around the feet, ankles, inner elbows and back of knees. It is so sad and frustrating. I will say that my 3, 2 and 1 year old sometimes get red areas around the mouth and cheeks when eating tomato based foods like ketchup and sauce. It goes away after awhile and I believe it is caused by the acid.
