Longies on NB in June?

I am wondering if I can use wool longies on a newborn in June. This is my first babe, and I keep reading that newborns should wear extra layers. And we'll probably be inside in some level of air conditioning.

Any thoughts??

YES! My dd is 7 weeks old and we have been using babyology smalls on her from the beginning. Wool breathes well so even if it is warm out your baby will be comfortable. DD sleeps in wool longies or shorties every night. I love them!

I would say just use common sense, kwim? Most of the time it would probably be fine, but if you're red, flushed and overheading with a tank top and shorts, I probably wouldn't put longies on...
