My local WIC and breastfeeding

I went to my appointment with my local wic office yesterday and was talking to the nutrtionist. She said that she received an email about starting a breastfeeding peer counseling program and wanted to know if I was interested. I have never done anything like it before, but I said yes. She said she would let me know when she gets things in motion. I would like to know from anyone who has done this what I will be doing and what kind of info I should be gathering. I am totally excited about this!

do you attend lll? they can help steer you most of the materials are provided by wic ( sometimes not the best stuff imho) you sometimes have to weed through some junk to get good info....

Just wondering if you had heard back from the WIC office. I'm really excited to hear what you will be doing.
