When my ds was born I had a wrap for him that worked wonders, but as he got heavier it was really hard on my back. My bf's parents got us a snugglie carrier that just did not work. I had been wanting an ergo for quite some time, but we couldn't spend the money, so I went back to the wrap because it was easier than the snugglie. We finally got an ergo a couple of weeks ago and I love it!!! My ds is 20ish pounds so I know we'll get our use out of it. I have a little girl that I take care of during the week who needs lots of lovin and attention, and I thought I'd try wearing her during our walks and putting my son in the stroller for a change. Man, what a difference it made. She is 35 pounds, so I won't be able to do it much longer, but it is amazing how much she loved it. She really enjoyed the closeness. I figure I'll take turns wearing them. Between my bf and I, our son gets worn around quite a bit, so the occasional stroller ride is actually welcomed by him. I just had to share!!!
