Protein - Page 2

oh ok gotcha.... yeah back of the sweets and the swelling will likely go down. (BTDT!)

also there is a big difference in the type of protein in say a whole wheat slice of bread and an egg. though it may have less "protein" then some foods, and eggs have a TON more nutrients over all - a much bigger bang for your buck. OR you could have egg salad on 2 pieces of whole wheat

FWIW, Chlorophyll supplement (for iron) helped me not to swell as much. also dandelion root daily. swelling can stem from an overloaded liver.

We just mix the cottage cheese (a few tablespoons?) in with the eggs (3-4) and a little salt before cooking. Sometimes we add a little cheddar cheese when the eggs are almost done, too. Yummy.

I hear you about craving carbs and sweets, especially late in the day, when I'm not eating well. I've been having the same problem, but I really do feel a lot better when I make a point to eat better. And sleep more...which reminds me, I need to go to bed!
