Ahh ok so ds has some acidic poop. Its not runny but he has gone 6 times today (were is all this coming from??) As soon as he poops it burns his poor little butt and is red. I change him immediatly and it has already burned him. I am thinking it might be from drinking milk. He recently started drinking it (about two months ago) Before then he was breastfed and wanted nothing to do with milk. He has has this acidy poop for about as long so thats why i am thinking it from that. aslo he only drinks his milk with chocolate. ya ... so maybe its too much sugar?? Anyways what do you think?

BTW i just gave him some probiotics right now because he has a past of bacteria problems.

Not since about 2 months ago when he had intestinal bacteria. (they thought it might have been from well water) We dont have well water but He dont seem like it bothers him besides the rash. I will watch him today and see if he poops alot. I really have no idea were all this poop is coming from. Its not diarreah and he had gone about 6 times yesterday!

We used "Flanders Butt Creme" it has balsam wood in it and is soothing. http://www.amazon.com/Flanders-Butto...085653&sr=1-16

But, it sounds likely it is milk, especially if he has a red ring around his anus. Also, coconut oil directly on his skin could help.

ya its a red ring. I bought some soy milk today and i havent given him any milk today. so far so good hes only pooped once today. He also just had an allergy check about 2 months ago and all it showed is that he had a small allergy to egg whites. Which he has never had a problem with anyway. Could they have missed the milk allergy or could he have developed it recently?

If they did a skin prick test or if the "allergy" to egg whites is IgE, don't give any egg whites in any form. Each subsequent allergic reaction becomes more severe over time because baby develops antibodies to the protein in the egg white.

Individuals allergic to dairy, often can not tolerate soy either.

The intolerance in baby is usually a sign of poorly digested proteins by mama's gut. So, perhaps you were digesting them more effectively previously and have developed more leaky gut? Or perhaps, baby has developed the intolerance over time due to multiple undigested proteins from your milk. A food journal is the most effective way to identify food intolerances, ime.

Well they did a blood sample test. I will not give him any egg whites then. As far as nursing he has been weaned for about 3 months so its not me. He has been drinking whole cows milk and got this reaction. as far as soy you are probably right because I had surgery back when he was only 2 months old and he had to have "prosobee" for 1 day and He literally threw every bit back up minutes after eating. Uggh its so frustrating!!! He did have an allergic reaction to peanuts back when he was only about 14 months. He ate some peanut butter cereal with me and broke out in hives and now he is not allergic to them. So should i have him tested agian for allergies?? Something does not seem to be agreeing with him but other than the rash and constant poop he is acting and looking fine. Also he has no fever. I will track what he eat also.
