Washing After Fungal Infection

We use prefolds with regular covers and woolen soakers (we also have 5 pockets). I suspect ds may have a fungal infection. I'm treating it by trying to keep him dry, airy and using regular lotion so I'm not taking him to the doctor as of this point (so no confirmation on the exact type of rash). The rash does seem to be going away. What can I do to wash his diapers to make sure that any possible fungus is killed. I can wash everything in hot water but only the prefolds can be dried on high heat. Would putting tto in the wash help? How much? What do I do?

Vinegar is good to kill yeast. Dd has had yeast and my ped just said to put a little Lotrimin AF cream on the areas for a few days. It cleared right up. I didn't have to do anything special to wash the dipes. Yeast is always living on your skin anyway.

If it were me, I'd boil your pf's and inserts and just was the pockets and covers on super super hot (turn up hot water heater)...

How would I boil them? I can't use my pots for that.

I would think just tablespoon or so of TTO would be good in the wash to get rid of fungus, but haven't used it. When we treated for thrush, I added 1 cup of white vinegar to the rinse for all the laundry to kill yeasties on PJs, tanks, etc along with diaper laundry.
