recipe for making your own disposable wipes

Here's a recipe I just got from an experienced mom who makes her wipes out of paper towels, for those of you that aren't using cloth wipes. She doesn't cloth diaper, but this is her way of saving money since she's using disposables. Just thought I would share! Maybe other posters can share their recipes too. (hopefully its okay to post this here?)

"You get a roll of Viva or Bounty paper towels and cut the roll in half. You take the half roll and put it into some kind of round Rubbermaid/plastic container. Then you boil 1 cup of water. (make sure it boils or you will have mold growing.) Add to the water 1/8 cup baby soap and 1/8 cup any baby oil. Mix and pour over paper towels. Once the cardboard tube get wet, it pulls right out. Then you take the wipes from the center and they pull up and out one at a time. We have used these for about 12 years and love them."

i never boil the water when i make wipes - i use cloth squares, but they sit in a container for about a week just the same and i never have had mold. i use baby soap, oil and aloe gel.
