Does anyone have any information about this?

Two girls, ages 2.5 and 4 died shortly after receiving a 6 component vaccine called Hexavac. Their home towns are Geretsberg and Eggelsberg, Germany.

I can't seem to find much about it.

you know what bothers me when reports come out about the safety of vaxes? the term "well tolerated." by whos standards, and what time frame are you giving this? simply an immediate, visible reaction? ugh.

There have been more than 2 deaths from this stuff. If you speak German read here: http://www.impfkritik.de/6fach/index.php

I have a busy day but can translate later. As of 2003 16 babies died, acknowledged by the Paul Ehrlich INsitut (German version of CDC immunization department).

There are two 6 in 1 (DTaP, HepB, HiB, IPV) vaccines approved in Germany. Hexavac and INfanrix Hexa. Hexavac was pulled in 2005.
As of 2007 (most recent research I could find), more than 100 babies were registered to have died after a 6 in 1 shot in Germany alone. More died in other European countries.
Hexavac was linked in a German study to a higher rate of SIDS in the 2nd year of life. THe doctor who lead the study used to be on the commission that recommends the yearly schedule; he now tells parents to skip HPV and chickenpox as it's absolutely unnecessary in his eyes.

Hexavac was taken off the market in Germany two years ago. The reason they gave was that the the Hep B component was not effective. Now it seems the real reason was previous deaths from this vaccine.

Apparently it was brought back on the market and now it killed two more kids (just recently).

Two infants died of SIDS in the vaccine group in the safety study - none in the control group.
