Used diapers

If you purchase used dipes from another mama that you don't know - what do you do for that first wash? Do you do something to "sterilize" them?

DH is not too keen on the idea of used dipes so I'd like some reassurance.

Thanks mamas!

I wash them along with my dirty dipes, just like normal. A cold rinse with vinegar and then sanitize cycle.

Wash them like my other diapers. No sterilization. I find most moms take good care and wash them for you anyways.

I washed them like normal, but I think I used 2 tbsp of bleach the first time I washed my used dipes... probably not something I needed to do but I did it anyway.

As long as you run them through the dryer, that heat is more than enough to effectively sterilize them.

I don't do anything special. Sometimes I even try the diaper on my little one before I wash it for the first time
