What about the Pope?

First off, I do not intend this as a religious question. I don't want to know if the Pope should be circed, I want to know if he is?

Dh's family is Catholic and I'm looking for my "ace in the hole" in the circ discussion that I will be having w/sil once she gets pregnant. So, I know most Europeans are intact, and being from Poland I would think so, but does anyone know for sure?

Also, she's very into celebrity worship, anyone know of any celebs that are intact?

(Medical research will unfortunately probably have very little effect on her.)

TIA!

Of course the pope isn't circumcised! He's Polish, and it isn't done there. Naturally, most cardinals, being Italian, are also intact.

As for celebrities - some of the actors reputed to be the biggest/best lovers in Hollywood are intact: Willem Dafoe, Ewan McGregor, Liam Neeson, Leonardo Dicaprio, and even Errol Flynn.

But Anguschick should concentrate on the men who are still living.

Celebrities age 18-35 www.club18-35.co.uk (also celebrities over 35 who were listed when under 35). Already-published pictures, all clothed.

I just wanted to say that all men of British or European origin are uncircumcised (except for the ones who are Jewish or Muslim, I suppose).

I read that Paul McCartney was circ'd as an infant... the only Beatle not intact. (just a tidbit, use it as you wish! lol)

It is entirely possible and even probable that McCartney is circumcised. He was born before the Gairdner report that came out in 1949 that precipitated the decision for the government to no longer cover neonatal circumcisions in their public health plan. Luckily for many men, the war was just over and there was little money in England and most parents just couldn't afford it. The combination of those factors lead to England abandoning the practice in just a span of a few years. I believe the current circumcision rate there is about 1% or less. Before 1949, the rate was more than 50%.
