Drying diapers

I line dry my diapers when I can, but lately I've been putting them in the machine.... on high (oops). Why isn't this recommended? Have I damaged them or is it just not good over time? I've probably done it a dozen times and they seem fine.

I think putting them in on high is rough on the elastic and the PUL if your dipes have that? Not sure... I always dryer dry mine, though once DH gets my clothes line set up I will try and use that. I usually dry on Low or Medium though..

thanks! what's PUL? I forgot to mention that ther are fuzzi bunz.

PUL is what the outer waterproof bit of the fuzzi bunz is made of So yeah, if you are going to dryer dry them I would just do it on medium or low heat and it should be fine.

Heat is generally damaging to plastic parts like snaps too in the long term. It can make them more brittle and prone to breakage. That said, I dry my fitteds (with snaps) int he dryer all the time and have only ever had one cracked snap.
