My daughter is 8, and she wants to organize a boycott/march/protest of some sort. She is not sure about what, but she started a "Peace on Earth" club, so it's environmental/peaceful. I don't know how to help her. She can't organize a march by herself, and I am not going to do it (not because I am not supposrtive but because I understand the scale of a march and she doesn't). She wanted to boycott gas, but that's not possible. I suggested a petition or letterwriting campaign, but she doesn't know what she wants a petition for. How can I help her without it becoming my project?

: Kids deep commitment is such an inspiration. We did a kids' peace march in September. We got friends together a few times over the month to make postcards to send to the UN, to make signs and placards, to learn a song and read abot peace, and then walked a few blocks from our war memorial to the city hall. It wasn't that much work and a motivated 9 year old could do that with their friends if you could walk with them.
Here are a couple of other places she can go for inspiration
Craig Keilberger's Free the children Craig became an activist at the age of 12.
Roots and Shoots
Kids for Peace
good luck!

: My 5yo wants to save the world in a day. She always says "I want to save the polar bears tomorrow" and "what animal will we save today?" So, I lurk for suggestions too!
