Had the Most AMAZING Writers Feedback!

Last night, I went to my GNO (Girls Night Out) and had a blast. Somewhere in the conversation, NANOWRIMO came up. And THEN, I told them about my attempt and where I crashed and burned.

WOW! The feedback I received was AMAZING!!! I felt that my story was pretty developed and was going to take a certain course. My friends were FLOORED that I had not take a few things into consideration with my character.
And they gave me all sorts of things to think about.

I can't wait to start writing. Now my only issue is that I have 3 chapters already written. ANd I kind of like them. Do I scrap and start over or cut and paste?

It depends. I've done this with shorter pieces. I always start with cutting and pasting. If it isn't working out, I scrap it and start over. I find when I have to start over then, it comes much quicker than the first time.

I agree with Eastkye gal. If you really like them go with that intuition. If you like them they are probably good because few of us ever like our own work.

But go into it with the flexibility of knowing that things may evolve differently and you may need to scrap them after all in the end, depending on what comes after.
