Jerky Arm Movements- 7 month old

I did a quick google search but couldn't really find any info so I thought I'd ask if anyone else here has experienced this.

My 7 month old DD will have jerky arm movements when she is frightened, falling asleep and waking up. I notice it slightly when she is playing sometimes too. It looks like she's jittery- like she had too much caffeine or something! (I have only 1 cup of coffee in the morning, I don't think it's caffiene. )

She's meeting all her milestones, and seems fairly well coordinated... just jittery!

Normal? Not normal?

I will bring this up with her pediatrician at her next appointment but I need some meanwhile reassurance! TIA

DO you mean a Moro Reflex?

Startle
spreading out the arms (abduction)
unspreading the arms (adduction)
Crying (usually)

It usually disappears after the first few months.

Our DS, who is almost 8 mo, waves his entire arm up and down when excited (either excited "good" or excited "bad"). His arm is entirely straight from the shoulder when he flaps like a bird.

I'm chalking it up to a lack of body awareness/control.

It's definitely not moro reflex.

It's like normal arm movements, but she's got really jerky/shaky hands.
