I came up with the pattern myself, and I LOVE them! What do y'all think?

Those are nice, I'm working on a crocheted (I don't know how to knit) pair for my son out of chenille yarn.

oooo...I never thought of knitting baby legs. I've made a pair from a pair of socks, but haven't been able to find more cheap socks to do that with. Next time I'm out I'll have to get some wool & needles.

With your pattern, the first time you decrease,
Quote:
R11 K2, P2 (decrease by knitting two sts tog every 2 sts) =48 sts
does that mean you're knitting the 2 stiches together, perling 2, then knitting the next 2 together, or were you doing it some other way?

sorry, I couldn't figure out how to say what I was doing. lol
I would knit 2 and then purl into the next two stitches...then purl one, knit one, and knit into the next two stitches etc...

It gives it a neat little triangle type flow from the original k2, p2 pattern. I'm sure there's an easier way to decrease to that number of stitches though.

Glad y'all like them! I'm about 10 rows away from finishing my second pair. I'm on Ravelry as Lemonapple and will be posting it up there sometime soon.

I LOVE those!I tried making up a pattern for a pair for Terran and got so discouraged I haven't knit anything since. I'm going to give your pattern a try.
