Sion's Homebirth - c-section transfer

I'm still a little too emotional to write everything out, but my birth photographer posted her blog pictures of my birth at this link:

http://sarahtew.wordpress.com/2009/03/27/birthing-sion/

the details are slightly off-- the last 15 hours I was swollen at 7cms with my body bearing him down uncontrollably. The "checking dilation" picture is the 4th attempt at trying to push his head past my cervix. It was really, really traumatic.

But he's beautiful.

Congrats on your son! I also had a tranfer with my first birth and it was very traumatic for me. It took me a while to process it all and make my peace with it. Do not be afraid to feel bad about it and work through it. Even though your transfer was totally needed it can still take a while to accept that. Good luck with your beautiful family.

: Do NOT be upset! I'm so jealous that you have such fabulous photographs! Four pregnancies, four births, guess what I've got? I LOVE the pregnancy pic of you on the wall in that shot! Very jealous. I want your hair too.

Gorgeous babe. Congrats! You're a mama! :
