help with PUL

I was so excited to find PUL at fabricland today, and it was 1/2 price to boot!

It is plain though, no polyester knit coating or anything. I want to make diaper covers out of it but I'm using regular elastic, not FOE. Should I line it with microfleece? Please give me your ideas/advice for making diaper covers out of it

Thank you!

Are you saying you have a waterproof film that is not laminated to a fabric backing? If so, I think it will be difficult to work without lining it with another fabric. I would think it would balloon when filled with wash water.

Hmmm, I guess I'm not exactly sure what I've got. It is stickier on one side than the other, but it doesn't seem to be laminated to a polyester knit(like my bummis covers). I'm thinking it may need to be completely sandwiched between a polyester knit? Or can I just use microfleece on the inside so the stickiness won't be on baby?

TIA!!

I went to the fabric store looking for polyester knit and couldn't find any in 100% polyester. I was thinking of lining it with mesh on the inside and a polyester print on the outside. I don't want it to be too bulky, but I want to be able to hang to dry between uses(and worry the microfleece would get stinky). Can anyone help me with this?

I used mesh when I made a swim diaper for my son and that seemed to work well on the inside... (but I was using the traditional pul with a poly outer and the laminated inside).
