Preschool in Ohio

Does anybody know if preschools can turn my un-vaxed DD away? Im not sure how that works since they aren't part of the Ohio school system.

The general rule for all private preschools (not part of the public school system in any state) is that if they receive ANY funding from the government they must take exemptions. That is ANY money (school lunch etc....) Most do. If the preschool is 100% privately funded then they do not have to except exemptions (although some still follow public school guidelines). The first step is to find out who funds the preschool you are interested in.

If the center receives funding from the state, they must accept your exemption.

Our daycare director accepted an exemption with blinking an eye.
