Same here.... 40 weeks and 3 days. Not a sign of baby making an appearance. Gotta happen soon, right?!

40 weeks yesterday. To top it off, the April mamas are starting to give birth like crazy!!

Not part of your DDC, but wanted to say that both our girls came at exactly 41 wk & 1 day.

I had ZERO signs with either of them that they were coming up until I went into labor. Cervix thinned, but not all the way. Cervix hardly dilated. Water not broken (water didn't break with DD2 until midwife broke it during pushing actually). Almost no Braxton Hicks contracations.

Really, sending you lots of ++++ vibes. I remember so vividly how VERY ready I was by my 41 wk appointment to be having the babe.

Just try to remember that, in general, the longer they stay in the better & that your EDC is really only an estimate. My best friend went almost a month over with DS2 (yeah, I know, NOT what anyone wants to do...she still complains about it 5 years later!) but he's the brightest little boy. Boarding on gifted. That extra time inside certainly didn't hurt him at all!

I am 41w 6d right now and am facing induction on Tuesday if I don't go into labor on my own. I am trying to hang in there though since I have been over every time with my other babies. Hang in there. Your day will come.

Sorry to hear that mama, I'm not in a rush, but am definitely concerned about induction - we haven't done anything like stripping membranes yet but likely will once I'm 41w3-4 d

Not apart of your birth group either but wanted to send you some laboring vibes!! My little man was born Jan 17th at 43 weeks, I hope you don't go as long as I did but just remember that babies know when to be born and try to get some rest to be ready for his/her big arrival..

Oh good, so I am not alone, though you'd never know by the posts - "Just had my baby!", etc etc. Enough to make me see green!!!!

I am dead certain of my dates, as I was charting and I know exactly when insemination and subsequent ovulation was. Practically to the hour!!

So there's no iffing whether I am really 41 weeks, oh yes. I know for sure this time!

I too am facing a tough choice when I hit 42 weeks, then my HB midwife won't be able to provide care anymore. I will keep all the rest of you in my heart - our babies don't know the law, and the law sucks.

My cycles were very regular last spring, so I was sure my due date was March 12. Based on an early ultrasound, the dr's office picked March 26. At any rate, both dates have come and gone.

My 4th baby was born 20 days after her due date - just a nice 7 pounder.

Everytime I go to the grocery or clean the house I think, 'OK, this is the last time - gotta stock up on food cause the baby's coming." LOL - NOT!!!

I am suffering with a very bad snotty cold right now - sure would like to get over this before I have a baby, but really, I'm just ready to hold a little person right now.

I'm 41w 2d today, according to the dating u/s I got early in pregnancy. By dates, I'd be 42w 1d today.

I'm not feeling up to labour at this point anyway, I have had a really bad chest cough since last week and my entire back is so sore from all the coughing. At least the fever is now gone but I feel so sick still. I can't sleep at night and I'm not feeling like my usual rested self.
