first time using FB and they leaked!

What went wrong? These are the first time he has worn them and they leaked! He was wearing it for about 2 hours ( sleeping) so was that it? He is also only 3.5 weeks old so maybe they are a little to big still? He leaked up his shirt, on his stomach though.. not through the bottoms or anything. What do you think happened?

Could it be you didn't have it snapped tight enough? Or you need a little more absorbancy? Were the inserts nice and wet or not really?

I've never had that happen, but I do always make sure the diaper is snapped very snugly. Maybe that will help?

Maybe not tight enough? Our small FBs didn't work until DS was about 9-10lb.
Make sure to point his penis down, or pee will just squirt out of the waistband.
