Thinking ahead...

Hi everyone.
We just started CDing this week and are loving it so far! We are using some BG 3.0 and some WAHM OS pockets as well.

My question is actually for November. We will be going on a cruise with our family and would like to CD while away as well. We just think bringing 24ish CDs will be easier than bringing enough sposies for a whole week. There is laundry facilities on board, but I'm worndering if anyone else has done this and how it went or if you have any tips for me? DH is totally on board with the idea (actually he brought it up) I'm just not sure if i'm totally off base even considering it?

The one thing I would be concerned about would be ruining my bg's if there were icky detergent residues in the machines there. You never know who has used fabric softner before you! The risk is less with natural fibers like prefolds or fitteds, but can be a little worse with pocket diapers because the polyester interior can collect those residues and become stinky (bad) or repellant (worse!). That would be my hesitation, but I've never done it.
