Haven't heard anything from you since your last post so I wanted to make sure that you are okay. Check in when you get a chance. I'm thinking about you!

iPhone so this might look weird.

Appointment was wonderful!

The ob was great and said everything gong on was perfectly normal. She checked out my cervix and it is firm and high with no signs of blood. er dr called her back when this was going on and apparently made it seem like I was bleeding profouslly. I had the office's normal bloodwork done, including another beta. That I've already gotten up to 772 shows that it's increasing just fine. So I'm not too worried. Dh went along with me and was on cloud nine as we left.

Other good news, the midwife I'd like to go with called me as I was n the waiting room. She seems great and I'll be callng her tOmorrow to set up our first meeting. She too thinks the er doc was nuts.

Thank you all for the suppport and good thoughts!

I'm so glad for you!!! Doesn't that make you want to do the happy dance all the way back to the E.R. where you promptly punch your idiot on call dr. in the face? Once in all my spotting (refer to previous thread) the nurse told me after I had been waiting an hour to be seen " Babe, you're probably having a miscarriage and theres nothing they can do about it, Hold on (at this point she answers her cell phone and asks the other end to pick her up Marlboro lights) they have to see people they can actually help first." I was 11 weeks pregnant that day. It turned out to be the first time I heard my sons heart beat.

I am a (new) nurse by profession, and have heard A LOT of questionable things out of Dr.'s mouths, of course I question everything, but I can't help but think this is why it's referred to as "practicing" medicine.

So glad things turned out well for you, and good for you sticking to your guns and declining the internal exam.
