I nursed DS till it was too painful during pregnancy. I am nursing DD (2mos) now, of course. I am thinking I want to encourage DS to relatch, but that is another forum...anyway...
DH asked my why I didn't have DD in our wrap as I nursed her and we walked from one store to another across a parking lot. He assumed my complaining about walking to the store was because I didn't want to walk and nurse at the same time and was kinda making fun of me for not babywearing since I am such an advocate and always saying how babywearing saves the day. I admitted to him (because I know he understands) that I really like to NIP and I think it is important for people to see me nursing in an indiscreet manner. Besides it being annoying to pull my shirt up, I like to nurse with the boob out and exposed. I WANT people to see me doing it. I think that it is my small way of making it more the norm. My mom is always asking me to cover just a bit so perverts don't follow us...
