How are you feeling? I was hoping to hold off until April, since I will now qualify for a refund for my midwifery services, so I'm glad to have made it this far. However, as of tomorrow - I really want to give birth.

I was due March 25th, so I'm a week past due now. My midwives are very comfortable up to 3 weeks, provided I do fetal assessments. So our first one is tomorrow, which is such a bummer because I was really hoping to have this baby totally naturally, but I do feel that the information from the assessment will be useful. so we're compromising, and asking for minimal exposure, and they're being respectful of that.
I've started to have lots of contractions, but nothing that did much more than slow me down a bit while walking, or wake me up at night. But I'm not even having to breathe through them yet, so I'm not even thinking it's prodormal labour yet. With my 2 y.o. DD, I had prodormal labour for 24 hours, and she was born 4 days later. So I'm thinking I could still be here next week, easily! That's ok, still feeling good. Wish I could sleep a bit better, but c'est la vie.

I was due the 27th. I can't believe I haven't had the baby yet! Every night I go to sleep thinking, "Maybe I'll wake up in labor...." and then every morning I wake up without a baby! I just can't believe it! DS was only 4 days over and now I'm 6 days over this time. I thought SURELY my 2nd would come sooner, but I guess that's not what the Lord had planned! Oh well.
My MW is very accomodating. She's in close practice with a CNM who can OK me for going past 2 weeks granted the baby is still doing fine. BUT I'm absolutely positive about my dates, bc my cycle was coming on the same day every month before conception, so I don't see going THAT far over. We're really hoping for tomorrow. The baby's dropped quite a bit, and my MW said I'm dilated 2cm and 30-40% effaced (but I've been that for 2-3wks). BUT she DID say on Tues when I went to see her that my cervix is MUCH softer than it was the last check, so that's really encouraging.

: She probably would have taken another week or more on her own. LOL. I hope all of you are able to go into labor on your own, and soon! P.S. I was 100% positive about my LMP & O dates b/c I had been charting & TTC for 9 months.

I haven't been very active on this board, but I thought I'd reply here. I was due the 31st. So, I'm 9 days late and counting. I'm feeling pretty good, but the prodromal labor is tough, and I'm getting tired of all the "you're STILL pregnant" comments. Hopefully the baby will be here soon!
