this is only his 2 week home visit, haven't seen him in over 6 months (it'll be 7 by then) and then by the time he gets to come home again it'll be another 9 months... It's really tough but luckily for me he's completely worth it

we're planning to drive up to his hometown to visit his family... it'll be my first time meeting grandparents aunts/uncles and cousins and my childrens first time meeting anyone up there. I love going up there because they live about 3/4 of a mile off of lake michigan... and it's down a back country road... I was worried I wouldn't feel comfortable up there but he grew up out in the country just like i did so i feel right at home.

i'm just praying so hard i am fertile while he's home...

I don't like how FF changed my O date and made my coverline so much higher (.3 higher). Last month I was well above my coverline even with a .5 dip one day. This month I've already hit the coverline once. I know FF does not determine if you are pregnant or not, but I really don't like the way it makes my chart look this month. I know, I'm a weirdo...

Ok...so I changed my CM on CD15 and it changed my O date and coverline. Pretty childish of me I guess, but it looks prettier...

Monday check in:
Name: Nicole
Date: 4/13
Where are you at in your cycle: day 19
Appointments: Interviewed another midwife
Symptoms if they apply: None
Testing: I will test if I am more than 3 days late
Thoughts: I'm thinking this month won't be the month. We DTD what I thought to be 2 days before O....but turns out this is the first month in 4 months where my EWCM was 3 days later than usual... So, unless the swimmers lived in me for 5 days - better luck next month

Is the CM on CD 15 questionable?? Right now your chart does look better to me too

Where are you at in your cycle: uh... CD 6
Appointments: n/a
Symptoms if they apply: n/a
Testing: n/a
Thoughts: I am pretty sure I'm sick I'm all sniffly today and my throat is sore and my lymph nodes are swollen, making my neck tender and eating is the suck. Ugh. I'm desperately looking for a job while now suddenly trying to do freelance no-paying webdesign work and why does it always stack up like this? lol

Good luck to everyone out there. GrapesBunch, it does look pretty like this

Yeah it was a litte confusing on CD15 and CD16. It was more than usual on both days and I felt more wet than usual. It was not a lot though and it definitely was not EWCM... There was once on CD15 that I had a lot of watery CM but by lunch it was changed to creamy. Originally I put watery since 1. I always chart first thing in the morning and, 2. I read somewhere on FF to chart your most fertile CM of the day. More than anything I didn't like that higher coverline. Changing my O date makes it closer to last month though it is still quite a bit different. What about you? Do your temp patterns look about the same from month to month?

I agree. I think I will keep it at this but still not test until CD30 (now 16dpo) when I will be "late". :

Um...I don't know what I was thinking, but I was on a lot of medication last week. I wonder if that could have caused the increased CM? Hmmm... I know guaifenesin causes that, but I don't know about the ones I was on. I tried to search but I couldn't find anything.

Thanks, Pea! From your chart it looks like you may have O'd! I'll be stalking your chart the next few days, but it looks like you're starting your 2ww! :

I was wondering if I could get some advice...as my obgyn is booked out for months.
I am 29 and in ok health. I had my DD in 2006. That was a very hard pregnancy on me and she came 8 weeks premature. I had normal bleeding after birth and tried IUD's twice and both fell out with some bleeding.
I had my first regular period in Sept. 2008 after not having one since 2005. I also had a second period in November 08. I am still breastfeeding at 34 months, only once maybe twice per day. I haven't had a period since Nov. I do feel crampy sometimes and something that makes me feel like I am starting my period, but nothing.
So we are TTC. Is it possible to get pregnant with no period? Is there a way for me to help things along? food? positions?
any advice appreciated.

Its possible but only if you catch the egg before your next period. As for how to do that I'm sure other women will be able to tell you as all I can say is, you should probably talk to your doctor about how to help yourself to ovulate again without weaning DD. Though I'm sure other ladies here already know how

Good luck!

Hi ladies!

I've been out of town since last week, so I need to catch up, but I am going to go ahead and post my Monday Check-In.

Name: stealthmode
Date: 4/13
Where are you at in your cycle: CD 28
Appointments: n/a
Symptoms if they apply: Feeling generally sick to my stomach, but that could be related to the rough weekend I had and the traveling. I had some weird crampy feelings on Saturday and Sunday, but it could be AF. We'll see.
Testing: Not yet, but thinking about it...trying to wait until Saturday but we'll see!
Thoughts: Wishing I would have temped this morning, even though I woke up 2 hours later than usual. I hate not having data!

Monday Check-In:
Name: Anne
Date: 4/13/09

Where are you at in your cycle: CD 5

Appointments: Just had CD 3 bloodwork done, and tomorrow, I'm having my 3D ultrasound to look at my uterus.

Symptoms if they apply: N/A

Testing: Never...just like last month.

Thoughts: I'm a little nervous about tomorrow. I don't know why. I still have a light flow, and I know I'm not really supposed to for this thing, but there really was no way around it. I hope it at least reduces itself to spotting tomorrow. I have been soooo bloated the past week or so. It's so annoying, and I usually don't get bloated for this long. My stomach is so distended. I know, kind of random, but that is what I'm thinking about as I sit here uncomfortably.

Also, if I hear one more person say that TTC for 4 months is such a long time, I'm going to scream. (On month 19 here...) (This has nothing to do with this thread, or this website for that matter, so don't anyone go and get worried. )

Pea~! Good luck to everyone else!

Monday check in:
Name: SwanLake
Date: 4/13, turned 27 yesterday
Where are you at in your cycle: Cd 38, 14 DPO
Appointments: n/a
Symptoms if they apply: spotting, emotional, abdominal fullness, nausea, light headed, breast tenderness
Testing: BFN at 12 DPO, planning to test again at 16 DPO
Thoughts: This has been the longest cycle ever for me. I am beginning to understand how it feels to ovulate later, makes the TWW seem even longer!

My husband has a surprise birthday trip planned for next weekend, so I am looking forward to relaxing knowing that we need to prepare for another cycle of baby making or celebrate a pregnancy. I found it very difficult feeling happy being around my family yesterday when I discovered I was spotting after church. My doctor thinks I may have low progesterone as usually spot for a few days prior to AF and spotted for many days prior to my miscarriage. I didn't have any spotting last cycle, my first cycle on Prometrium. I'm hoping the spotting this cycle is implantation spotting and is almost finished! The slight pink intermitant spotting is turning from light pink to brown. :

Monday check in:
Name: SuzieQ
Date: 4/13
Where are you at in your cycle: CD 34...still no O
Appointments: n/a
Symptoms if they apply: I'm getting mild cramps from time to time, and keep hoping it's the start of AF so I can finish this cycle and move on, but alas...nothing is happening with my body
Testing: n/a
Thoughts: My work schedule is ridiculous for the next several weeks, which is making sleep and temping sporadic. I'm not sure how useful charting is when you can only temp every other day, but I'm going to try and stick with it. It's frustrating, because since I'm just coming off BCP I have no idea what my real cycle is like and how long it will take for my body to get to my baseline. I know I need to be patient, but I'm a bit type-A so patience doesn't always fit well with my personality. lol

Thanks for listening to me gripe. Good luck to everyone this week!

Monday check in:
Name: SeattleRain
Date: 4/13
Where are you at in your cycle: CD10
Appointments: Went to my GP today because I think I have a UTI, hurts when I pee, I think she thinks I'm a hypercondriac, but she let me get a blood test for PG anyways
Symptoms if they apply: hurts when I pee, migraines, sensitive nipples
Testing: Let's not even go there. All I can tell you is that Saturday night was a very big night for the HPT industry. I also took an OPK test yesterday which also came up negative.
Thoughts: I REALLY thought I was preggo this month so I cant help but feel somewhat disappointed that I'm not pregnant. I had weird bleeding that seemed like implantation bleeding around CD6 (esp. since my period had been only 36 hours) and that got my hopes up. I'm a little aggrivated. I know we've only been TTC for a month, but it's hard to get your hopes up and have it not work out, I feel powerless.

Monday check in:
Name: Carson
Date: 4/14
Where are you at in your cycle: CD33
Appointments: None
Symptoms if they apply: tired, hungry, tender bb
Testing: Sunday Apr 19

Thoughts: I'm confused. I know that I could just have long cycles (don't remember anything pre-BCP) or that I'm still kind of wonky coming off BCP. Or I could be PG. I'm trying to just be patient and not think a whole lot about it, now that I've moved into territory.

I do think that I'm going to start temping, don't know if it would be helpful now or whenever CD1 comes. I think that I can temp to know what's going on with my body, and DH and I can still SWH (he wants to keep TTC casual at this point, and I do too).

Definitely. We're both just getting started, but I can relate to being so hopeful. On Fri, I was itching to test, even though I wasn't late. Thought I would be sad if I got BFN. Sunday rolled around and I was super confused and decided to test. BFN, and I didn't feel anything, just confused. It's such an up and down process!

I REALLY hope I get preggo next month and if it doesn't happen I know I'll feel crushed... it really sucks to only get one chance in over a year.

on another note, getting O-pains today... which is odd because I was pretty sure I o'ed back on saturday. I really wish I had my new thermometer it's so hard to do this without temping.
