Ok, so either I am completely unable to identify EWCM or I don't actually HAVE any yet. Either way it's confusing me! I'm on CD 16 right now so it's surprising to me that I don't have any yet. Doesn't EWCM usually show up a few days before O?

Lauren, hope you ovulate soon too! I figured that if I get pregnant this cycle I'll be due the week of Christmas! I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much, but would possibly know if I'm pregnant on my birthday, which also happens to fall on Easter this year!

Can antibiotics delay your O that much? My antibiotics end today. YAY!!!

sometimes yes, sometimes no. Drinking a lot of water helps

Yah it is supposed to but, some women do not have it. Also just wanted to say I looked at your chart and you CM looks like it is following the normal pattern. EWCM usually comes after creamy CM! Good luck !

yes! it is a good thing either way. i just have to find the patience to wait and see WHICH good thing it is. i keep convincing myself one way or the other, and then when it suddenly seems i'm wrong, i am thrown for a loop. i just need to stop thinking about it so hard and accept that it is what it is and i cannot know yet.

fyi, i just had EWCM for the first time (at least that i noticed in the past 3 years since starting to chart)! i just never really get it. i still conceived DD, though, with creamy/watery CM. just so you know! i was very nervous about my lack of EWCM in terms of TTC, but it didn't end up being an issue last time around!

Thoughts: Frustrated. Ready to O already. Went through March without Oing, now I'm ready to O in April. Drinking Fertilitea and ordered Preseed, hoping for results soon. Going to see a midwife to see what I can do to boost fertility chances.

Amen. Just starting this charting business - haven't even bothered with temps yet, I'm still mid-AF. :P But I've been aware of the theory and have sort of idly watched for CM, mostly to my utter befuddlement. And when do you ID it? First thing in the morning? Whenever you see it? What if you get some extenuating circumstances - i.e., arousal - that throw off your assessment? I've been on maca a few months now as a libido enhancement and they aren't kidding when they talk about "increased lubrication," kwim?

You know, I was wondering the same thing earlier today. Is there a "good" time of day to check for CM? I wonder if maybe I haven't been checking thoroughly enough. Hmm. Help us, oh wise and experienced charters!!

I always check after going to the bathroom (number 2) or exercise. Those two activities push it out haha

Well day number two of charting lol. I bought myself a basal thermometer yesterday. I think most nights I might get enough intrerupted sleep even with breastfeeding. but last night I was so excited to use my thermometer that I was up every hour or so. lol. Yesterday tried to put a gap in nursing we made it 6 hours... and that was just a quick nurse like 2 min and then he didnt nurse again for another 2 hours... then it was nightime and lots of nursing there . I am going to start trying that every day that after he is nursed down for his 12-1 o'clock nap that he doesnt nurse again untill bed... we will see its as hard on me as it is him to give up that time together. But we only have 3 more months we can get pregnant. Dh is going to Afganistan next may. so We need to have a baby by april of next year or we have to wait untill he gets back.

TCOYF says for CM, to check throughout the day, every time you use the bathroom if possible, and record the most fertile thing you see. whereas with CP, you should check it at the same time every day - doesn't matter when, but should be the same time because that can be affected by time of day.

as for me, AF showed up after lots of spotting and cramping last night. i am very excited about a 12-day LP, because i have had 5-day ones in the past! WOOOO! this month i'm hoping to time things better... let's see how it goes!

Ouch. Cramps, evil cramps. AF better make an appearance soon cause these hurt.

I want that 29 day cycle back. Or even my 30+ ones, the cramps are not nearly as bad then.

Glad that AF came on time though and didn't torture me.

And I had NO PMS this time which was wonderful. (I'm thinking could be due to the maca...?)

Hey! You're only on CD1 on April 2nd, you could TOTALLY ovulate and concieve this month!!! We could be hearing a BFP from you by the end of the month!!!!

Well I really havent nursed a whole lot today. partly because he wont stop biting and doesnt seem to want to nurse he is enjoying the increase of solids I think...
