@ SeattleRain - you're post-Mirena too, I see. I had mine out in November... AF returned within the month, and appeared pretty normal by the second. Have you had any trouble following your removal? Mine seemed smooth, though I worry it'll take a year to conceive (because, hey, I gotta have SOMEthing to worry about... )

RE: charting... I just don't know that this is going to work very well. And I'm only on day 2, LOL... my work schedule fluctuates and will prevent me from temping at the same time every day, though it will be right upon wakening. M-Th I work noon-10p and then Saturdays (and some Fridays) I have to be here at 8:30a. And I am NOT getting up every morning 7:30 just so I can get consistent temps, heck no. >.> Will it really kill my chart to have 1 or 2 days per week where I temp earlier than usual?

Idk, but I can tell you that I have been faithfully waking up at 5:30 am EVERY DANG DAY to temp because that's when I have to wake up during the week. Let me tell you, hearing the alarm at 5:30 am on Saturday morning makes me want to punch something.

I'm hoping that eventually I'll get so used to it that I'll be able to fall back asleep...

I do the same thing, alarm goes off at 5:30 every morning. On the weekends I just temp and fall back to sleep, usually during the week too, lol (the snooze button is my friend). Sometimes I am back to sleep before I'm actually done temping. You get used to it.

yeah my alarm goes off at 5:40 everyday. That is because I work on Saturday and Sunday at 6am, so during the week, I just keep it the same.

During the week I always fall right back asleep. It is not a problem at all. In fact, I have been starting to automatically wake up a couple minutes before the alarm goes off. My body is trained.

You will get used to it and it won't even be a bother.

oh, and Snow~Pea, thanks for the hug. I really am bummed. I know it will pass, but for now, I am bummed.

Looks like you are still having the fertile cm, but no o on day 19. Hopefully it is just around the corner for you. I had the same thing with the prolonged fertile cm on the maca.

what are your thoughts on having sex, lying still for like 1 minute, and then getting up to make breakfast, walk the dog, etc... Do I have a chance that some of his swimmer made their way in?
Regarding temping...
The earliest I have to get up for work is 7am and I find I wake up on my own around 6:30 and need to use the bathroom, so I take my temperature between 6:30 and 7:30 everyday. I can usually fall back to sleep without a problem on the weekends too. It has become routine.

Regarding laying still after sex...
I generally try to lay down for atleast 10 minutes after sex, although it is not always do able if it happens in the morning on a week day. TCOYF says: "it may be advantageous for you to remain lying down for up to half an hour in the basic position in which you had intercourse."

Mind if I join this thread as an official stalker?
DH and I are not quite actively TTC#1 as I'm waiting for my body to simmer down after stopping BCP, but I feel like since I follow these threads like they're a soap opera, I might as well announce my presence and stalk openly. haha

monday (Friday?) check in:
Name: SuzieQ (26)
Date: April 3
Where are you at in your cycle: CD24...waiting for any signs of O
Appointments: just had my annual
Symptoms if they apply: I've lost 5 pounds and my skin has cleared up amazingly AFTER stopping the hormones (seriously...all these years I thought my BCP was supposed to be helping my acne)
Testing: saving my coveted OPK until my cycle settles down...looking forward to POAS
Thoughts: nervous and excited!

I'm a little freaked out...I just watched "A Baby Story" and a woman went into labor and delivered one of her twins in her kitchen floor. Thank goodness DH was not here to see that... Still makes me tear up to see a baby born though.

AFM: I am on CD10. If I O the same as last month (CD16) I should O on Thursday. We plan to start BDing Monday or Tuesday. ...so : ! I guess by this time next week I will be stressing and noticing every stupid thing my body does and convince myself I'm pregnant.

I've been off work this week and busily working on projects around the house so I haven't been on much but to everyone and : for those hoping to get a BFP over the weekend.

Hi - can I get added to the list? I'm not sure how this all works, I'm fairly new on here. DH and I are TTC #2 starting this month (next week!!). DS turns one on the 16th. We got pregnant the very first time we tried, so I'm hoping it will be that "easy" this time around. I am still nursing DS and plan on nursing throughout the pregnancy if my body lets me. I don't know all the terminology yet, so I'm sorry if I write something wrong!

monday check in: TTC #2
Name: Nicole (26 yrs)
Date: April 3
Where are you at in your cycle: Day 9
Appointments: Interviewed a midwife for a homebirth last week, haven't had a doctor's appointment since I was 5 weeks post-partum

How long was your first cycle? I had removed on March 9th and then got my period full force 2 days later. I bled straight for 7 days and I haven't really been able to get a sense of my cycle since then. I'm not sure if I've ovulated and I'm not sure how long this cycle will be so that I can even estimate. I only had it in for 8 months and I used to get my period really lightly about once every 6-8 weeks so I'm wondering if I'm going to have another 6 week cycle again. Usually I'm like clockwork, every 28-30 days! So frustrating!!! I hope I'm one of those women who just never gets their period back again because they're pregnant!

Jenna - I'm so sorry for your loss.
You're in my thoughts, and I'll keep my fingers crossed that things work out better for you this time around.
Oh, and I also sympathize with the jealousy aspect. I spent several weeks recently working on an inner city labor and delivery floor, and I saw TONS of young moms (teens and even a 12 yo) with unintended pregnancies, didn't know who the father was, had various STDs or poor prenatal care, didn't seem to want the baby all that much or treated their other kids like crap. It was so sad, and it makes you angry when you think of these people who take their fertility (and children) for granted when there are tons of women who would do almost anything for a successful pregnancy and who you know would love and take great care of that baby. <sigh> I'll stop ranting now.
Thanks. and Suzie, man i hate the way it is. i know everyone says God has a reason for things, but what is his reason for giving children to the girls and women who cant, dont want to, or wont take care of them but we are here struggling. but yea. it will all work out for us all eventually

Jenna-- welcome back -- I am sorry you had to come back here under such bad experiences... but I really hope you catch the first egg and get out of here ASAP!

Jenna--sorry for your loss. Good luck to you!

Good news for me today...EWCM showed up! And the best part is, my DH just got home from a business trip this afternoon. It's like my body knew to wait or something. Crazy.

Anyway, I'll be busy this weekend!
