Would you bother doing the dtap after age 2? We are out and about all the time and we eat are fair share of junk food ,I only bring that up for the fact that I know a healthy diet plays a big part in being more healthy......

If you wouldnt why?

If you would Why?

I just dont know if pertussis is something I could handle,I panic very easy.....

Also on another note with SA why why can my 2 1/2 year old take up to 3000 mg without a loose stool? I Know I half to take a crap load aswell before I feel like running to the loo I think my poo point is around 15,000 mg

Whooping cough is dangerous up to the age of 6 months. How did you make it this far with your son?

No matter what age, wc is not pretty but it is manageable. I had 3 cousins who all had it at the same time and I was exposed but never got it. I saw what it was like. In the "good old days" kids were told to run outside when they start to cough, and after they bring up the spittle (after the cough) they could come back inside. That was what I saw my cousins do. The cough is infrequent, maybe 5 times a day (more during the night), but it is very intense. After a few times of witnessing it I became accustomed and saw nothing frightening about it. That was ca 55 years ago.

Would I inject the DTaP to prevent this? No way. That vaccine is linked to SIDS. Even if the child is older, what does it do to the body when it is so detrimental to an infant? The P portion is used in test animals to cause allergies. So chances are very good that it will cause life long allergies in humans.

The cough lasts about 3 months and gets less in frequency as time goes on. Can come back the following year for short time.
It is said kids who had wc will never get asthma since it strengths the lungs.

About SA dose -

That is an individual thing. Your body may be lacking Vita C? I would not take it on a daily basis though. If you need a vitamin to take daily, make sure it contains bioflavanois and is a better, more natural Vita C.

We use SA only to fight infections.

By the way, I can take a large amount also while my dh can hardly take more than 1/2 teaspoon.

What brand/kind of SA do you buy Gitti?

do you have proof of this Gitti, to my knowledge it is not definitely linked to sids, that is false information to state it as such. I still will not give it to my son, but for other reasons.

I would give dtap if I was traveling abroad, but look at every vaccine and situation as a risk benefit basis and decide what is best. as of now, no vaccines and my son is 20 months.
