I registered for Marine Corps. Yay for me!

It's the kick in the pants I need. A goal. Aside from giving birth to my kids, finishing my marathon was the most emotionally and physically euphoric experience of my life. I wouldn't mind that feeling of accomplishment again.
Plus the 20 lbs. I lost (and could use to lose now) didn't hurt!

My first marathon was on my 1-year wedding anniversary, in May 1997 (vermont city -- beautiful!). This one will be (with G-d's help) 12 years, 3 kids -- 4 pregnancies and 10 years of nursing -- later.
I am PMSing which is why I think I feel like a blubby blob.

Also I did a new fitness dvd earlier in the week (The Biggest Loser Boot Camp) which set me squarely on my rear and made me so sore I haven't run in 5 days. And I had parent-teacher conferences for 5 hours straight Tuesday, after 6 hrs of teaching. And I've been up 3 nights straight with coughing and/or vomiting children. Good times!

Have a good day everyone. Rainy and raw here today, ready for spring! Pesach cleaning almost done...now to keep the playdough only on the kitchen table (it migrates on the bottom of socks...anyone ever notice that?)
