i have to go get my teeth cleaned today. and DH went back to work and no babysitter for DD. i have to take her with me. at least they all love her there. i am going to put her in the stroller and give her all kinds of goodies to keep her occupied.

April Fools day is Bodhi's birthday so we didn't play jokes on him. I figured that would suck to grow up and ALWAYS have pranks pulled on you on your birthday. I was going to do something with the kids but they went with my ex to Great Wolf Lodge last night and were gone from morning on.

But there were all sorts of pranks pulled on us at work... by the Universe. I swear. A big show was coming up (today actually) that we were prepping all this jewelry for and then boss found out that they had switched the date without letting her know. To a date in a couple weeks when she will be at a show in another state. And then got mad at her for not dropping her other engagement....

Sigh. it's all working out but grrr....

My energy is zapped. Not sure what is up. Usually, I'm a morning person, but this week I've had to drag myself out of bed. Hmmm... Oh well, I'm sure it's temporary. I'm trying to get inspired to work out, but I just want to stay in bed.

Yesterday, we went to another Kindergarten open house in the town we're going to live in, and then popped over to sign the lease for our new place. Now, I just wish we didn't have to wait until July. At least there's lots of time to prepare/pack.

I am so very tired today. I would probably still be asleep if my Mom had not called about Pat Benetar tickets. Her department has a ticketmaster kiosk, it just does not open until 9am. Now I have to figure out how to buy 3 tickets and she will pay me back.

Yep, less than a month "new to us". Full tank of gas, new tires, new battery... oil pump went and seized the engine = dead car. Of course, state lemon laws only deal with new cars.

Still have no idea what I am going to do. We need two cars. No public transportation to either job and since we work in such a way that I take kid to school and he picks kid up (woohoo no childcare) we can't look into carpool situations.

Still hoping for a miracle because I can't buy a car with the little I have saved. It's not even enough for a down payment at a buy here, pay here lot. Not that they'd give us a car loan since we are paying on our dreamy 2008 car.

Okay enough of that. My brother let me borrow his Jeep, but it has issues too. I might be able to "rent" it from him for a couple weeks while I figure something out.

so the dentist told me i need some fillings replaced. i knew that already, but he told me he can crown the 2 in front on the top. half of them are already crowned and the real teeth are quite a different color :< but he can make them all the same color, and have it done in time for the wedding:> but i am pregnant and not sure what i should do. i wont have dental coverage after the baby is born. some of the teeth are starting to hurt. i am torn.

Pain plus current dental coverage? I'd get it done now despite the pregnancy. Do what you can to minimize risks and obviously make sure the dentist knows you're pregnant, but that sort of dental work is not cheap and if you wait till you don't have coverage... ouch.

Trying to get a couple more opinions and we'll see. The seller is going to look at it. If it's toast he is going to buy it as a parts car (minus the new tires & new battery). If it's going to cost more than I paid... I just don't know.

Ouch... have you fully checked on whether any of it is warranted since it is under 30days since purchase? I know when we bought used cars (unless by owner?) it always came with a 30day/1k mile warranty.

:ioness, I agree with clay. Get it done while you can, there is actually very little risk to the bub and you can minimize even that. Hell I had full on under anesthesia surgery when I was pregnant with Connor... TWICE! I would definitely do it

And Pam dahling (I think it was you that asked!?) here are the photos of mah new abode that you requested I'm sure nobody would dare mention the ridiculous typo in the album title because I was awake at 5am this morning (thanks Quinn) and hadn't had my first cuppa yet when I made that album lol.

I have a funny tradition with a previous pagan womens group I was part of... when I've moved, since I obviously cannot have you all over for a housewarming/house blessing party... I will take photos after we're settled and have a VIRTUAL houseblessing party! Everyone will be invited to grab a cuppa their favorite beverage and some chocolate of course, and take a virtual tour of our new house hehehe. Silly but fun!

I just realized I haven't made plans to 'cleanse' the new house yet... granted the only leftover energy floating around is from the builders hehe, but I'll still have to plan a little something. But can't stand the smell of sage so I'll have to get creative.

i had to hide my "off" button. but i can just shove the pc farther under the desk. she still looks at it like she wants to push it but it is so far under there, and the chair is in the way etc.


i was worried about the fillings releasing mercury or whatever. the doc assured me that the numb stuff would be ok b/c we would be using way less than his sources say is unsafe. he seemed unconcerned about the mercury though. all of my teeth are either crowned with extensive building and posts etc or they are mostly filling with some tooth in there. 95% of my teeth have root canals already. i guess one filling isnt going to make a difference with all the stuff already in there. . just being a paranoid pregnant lady.
