Wow. Now, I know that my mind has been preoccupied with other stuff but I am so terribly embarrassed that I've been posting in the March thread. Wondering where everyone was. Knowing it was April, but not making the freakin' connection that a new thread would be up!

I mean, come ON! Where's my brain?! That is just so unlike me.

Ok, now I'll tell you why I'm all messed up. I just found out yesterday that ds's blood work results were even more abnormal than previously thought.
He just had more blood taken yesterday and I hope to Goddess the low numbers were a fluke. Because if not, I don't know how I will get through this.

So please... Light a candle; Say a prayer; Send positive, healing energy, etc etc.
I should get the results on Monday. Please please please let this not be what they are concerned about.

well...it'd be funny if it had some context! i don't think i have ever heard it before, and just seeing a picture (and trying to figure it out) didn't really do anything for me. it would be silly calling someone that, though. it's a fun new term. maybe i'll adopt it i get it about the head up the rear. but i didn't get it right off just from the smilies.

oh yeah, i had one of those, too! that was after Rio was not a toddler anymore. the duct tape worked when he was 2 and under. after that i got the armoire, and locked the handles with a baby lock, one of those long ones.

I just realized I haven't made plans to 'cleanse' the new house yet... granted the only leftover energy floating around is from the builders hehe, but I'll still have to plan a little something. But can't stand the smell of sage so I'll have to get creative.

I can't even type out what the fear is. I just can't.

They were testing for Celiac disease but also did a CBC. Ds's former pediatrician didn't even catch the low white blood count! It was his new pediatrician that caught it.

i wish we had no tv. DH would not go for that. cable will steal your brain... of course the internet steals mine more than the TV .

im going to go for it. i was just worried. i am excited to actually be proud of my smile again. they wont be white but they will be the same color!!

yeah, we do... when it's close, it blends, which is nice, but this far apart, i kinda seperated things, so hidden eggs (we dont hide the basket. never heard of that one til i met dh.) will be april 12th. i'm kinda thinking of it as advent, as we did the bunny house and decorated eggs so far ahead, lol.

Oh DoK... hang in there. Bright light and blessings to the young one... it's going to be ok. It just has to be. Do you have the celiac results? Could celiac cause the other readings to be off? (We're testing dd1 for celiac next week, and I know it can go hand in hand with other autoimmune disorders.)

Duct tape- might work, might work. The computer is a laptop and the power button is right on the work surface (and it glows blue). She only gets interested when I'm actually using the computer... she walks over, takes a look, waves at the smilies, and then PLOP goes the little finger right on the power button as she asks "push?" in a totally innocent little voice. Now, the computer generally requires that you hold the power button down for a certain number of seconds before it "believes" you, but somehow she has managed this a few times.

We bought the laptop (for those who don't remember... this was a year or two ago) after dd1 discovered the joy of computers and managed to trash our desktop computer during the minutes she was left alone with it. Much pain and sorrow followed, and the laptop does have a full replacement warrenty on it as a result of that experience. Hmmmm. It's probably expired, which would explain Ro's sudden interest.

I'm looking forward to Easter oddly enough. Our Ostara didn't go as planned (that's the day the code truck pulled up and told us the house wasn't really a house) so I kind of feel like Easter is giving me a "do over". Growing up we always had middle eastern food for easter (on the theory that Jesus was from the middle east) and I think it's a nice tradition to follow. Especially since I like middle eastern food! DD1's birthday is this weekend but we're sharing a bday party with one of her friends on the 11th so it's going to be a celebration heavy week... birthday on the 5th, party on the 11th, easter on the 12th.

Oh, and the code guys come back on Saturday morning to do the inspection and decide if we can remain in the house so think happy housing vibes if you can.

Right now I'm trying to come up with some way to release the energy from my son's birth to welcome in the new baby.

Haven't been around because I just can't keep up with the thread. I like all the pagan stuff & how you incorporate it into your lives, but having a hard time finding the time for all the personal stuff. These threads just move too fast for me. And, I'm trying to find the time to work during the day so I can get my business up and going.

However, I did buy "Drawing Down the Moon" and am dying to read it. However, I'm already in the Middle of "Growing Up Green" and need to quit having 2 books going at the same time. It makes it too hard to follow.

duct tape works because they can't really see the twinkly lights, but you can still press the button through it. you have to use the regular silver, but i know they have colors out there now too, and i bet anything dark would work.
