Baby shoes tip

For those making your own soft-soled baby shoes, use grippy shelf liner for the soles. It can be glued to your inside fabric with ordinary paste to make a sole for sewing to the rest of your shoe.

Warm toes and no slip-sliding!

I never thought of that! I just bought some Tough Tek online and have been using it for a year or so with good results.

This is a old post, but I really want to make my DS some slippers, does anyone have a pattern?

this is a genius idea! i have seen that stuff at the dollar store regularly.

i am about to use this pattern: http://stardustshoes.blogspot.com/20...e-pattern.html
i'm waiting for my husband to bring home the pattern he's printing at work. i asked him to enlarge it to 125% and 150%, as the pattern is for about 0-3 months size.

Follow-up, it's good for indoors and babies who are just learning to pull up. Out doors and babies who want to have their hands held for walking all the time, they wear out pretty quickly. Ah well...
