Does anyone use diaperliners? If so what do you use? We're starting solids and I'm thinking of making some fleece diaperliners to line his dipes but really I think I want the disposable (flushable) kind. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I am not a fan of fleece in the diapering area. But I think it would be a good option for what your seeking.
I had the flushable liners I received at my first baby shower in 1989. I had the same ones in 1999 and in 2001 -- I ended up giving them away -- I found them cumbersome, and more than I wanted to handle during diapering. Plus if they ended up in my load of diapers the fiber content messed with my aplix tabs.

We recently started with Cds and are using ther flushable liners (it was the only way my DH would agree to CD) I don't mind them. They work well as long as the poo is fairly firm, not runny. My DD is known for really loading up a diper and they have caught most of the solids so far. I really think it's personal preference. I would suggest buying a roll and trying them out. I just lay them in my diapers when I get them out of the laundry and stuff them so that when we need the diaper, everything is there already.

I hate trying to poop off natural fibers, so we do use liners. I find poop comes off pockets fairly easily with a quick dip in the toilet - my fingers never have to touch anything. But with prefolds or fitteds, the poop just sticks there and is harder to get off, so that's when I always try to use a liner. For us it makes clean up so much easier!
I've used flushable and fleece and both have their pluses and minuses. Flushable are convenient, but you're just adding more cost. Bummis are softer, but I don't feel they catch the poop as well. Imse Vimse don't feel so soft, but catch the poop better for us.
We just ran out of flushables and I'm thinking I"m going to try sticking to my fleece liners for a while. Some are microfleece, some are just from fleece from Joanns. Both work fine. They catch poop well, clean easily...washable, so I don't have to keep buying the other ones...
