Washing wool covers w/o wool wash?

I didn't have time to lanolize my wool covers before the baby came, so I was/am using them w/ no lanolin.

Anyways, I am ready to try lanolize them. I have 2 that needs a little washing from some poop(u can barely see it) but I don't have 'any wool wash' and not sure what I can use to clean them before I lanolize them.
Also how do I lanolize them, I have the lanolin oil and a lanolin cream thing.

Thanks

You can wash them with baby shampoo or olive oil soap.
How I lanolized my wool was to put some Lansinoh lanolin on my hands and then wash it off with very warm water and soap into a sink, that would create my lanolizing bath, add some warm water, so it is not too hot and put the cover/s in for 15 minutes. Then rinse them in a little colder water than what the bath was to get rid of soap. Roll it in a towel and dry. I would first let it flat dry and once they were not so damp I would line dry. It would take forever to flat dry them.
