We "interviewed" a homebirth midwife (I already knew her, have for a long time) and DH was completely comfortable. He didn't even want to take time to think about it, he said he knew that he wanted her at the birth. So since I already knew that I wanted her there, we told her at the interview & scheduled our first official appointment! I am so thrilled, and the financial aspect will work out too. I will actually get to have a homebirth with this baby, my fourth and last child
