About the cosleeping, my dh was against it at first too, and then he realized how easy it made his life & now he tells everyone to do it! Your dh won't have to get up, bring you the baby, make bottles in the middle of the night, its great for dads. About the spoiling, maybe you could get something to read for him like Dr. Sears or Katie Allison Granju, that shows how independent kids can become after close attached parenting in the early years. wow, i woke up this morning thinking it was tuesday! i am so out of it. ive been asking dh to hold baby for me while i do this or that, and i think he is starting to become more "hands on". he is so in love with the baby, but his parents are super old fashioned, and he is sort of stuck in that mindset. nursing is still going great other than my super sore nipples. yikes! she has a good latch, i think its just the regular "i just started bfing" soreness. she sleeps 2.5- 3 hours at a time, which is worlds better than the 1.5 that audrey was. once shes a bit bigger and im more confident ill be able to bf her while lying down and we'll be good to go . thanks everyone for the kind words, i cant wait to keep reading about all the new babies that are being born!

Congrats, mama!! And welcome Gwyneth Joy! What a beautiful name!!

Don't feel bad about the epi . . . my first two were induced (medical necessity) with pit and it was miserable. I ended up with epi's for both. With #3 I was able to birth naturally and it was a world of difference. No epi needed when pit wasn't involved.

Glad to hear breastfeeding is going so well!! That's great!
