I "think" my water just broke

I'm 39 weeks and 1 day...Could this be it? Woke up at 1:00am and figured I might as well use the washroom, sat up and felt a little gush. First thought was...hmmmm..did I just wet myself. Never have done that in this pregnancy or my previous one. And it's not like I was dying to go to the bathroom or anything. More of a habit now. Wake up. go pee.

So I changed my undies and then 15 min later, feel another little gush and it's running down my legs. Grabbed a pad and just checked. It's tinged with a little blood.

Had one minor contraction or cramp and that's it. Now I'm soooo AWAKE! Going to see in the next hour or two if there is anymore leaking fluid or if I have anymore contractions....

Yup. I think this is it. Had to change my extra thick 'overnight' pad already. And I lost my mucous plug. Contractions are coming on but feel only like mild menstrual cramping.

I'm going to call the labor dept. at the hospital and see what they say. I don't want to go just yet, but rather labor a little at home. It's 3:00am here and my 5 1/2 year old is asleep. I'd rather DH and I left first thing in the morning.

Oh yes! I would bet that's it!!! That's what happened to me Baby was here two hours later. No pain when mine broke either, and contractions didn't get intense until the very end, and were still tolerable!
