Hi everyone, I need help. My son is 8 weeks old, before he was born (he is my first child) I made like 30ish Rita's Rump Pocket diapers and the covers that came with that pattern. The covers did not come out so well but I think I did ok with the diapers, but no matter how tight I put them on every time my son poops it comes out the back and goes everywhere. I don't know what to do I really hate using disposables but I also hate it when I have to clean poop off of him 3 or more times a day. Am I doing something wrong? Is there some sort of trick to using these, or are blowouts just part of it? Are bought diapers better? Like AIO's? Any advice would be MUCH appreciated. Please just let me know your thoughts.
