Last night he had Harvey Karp talking with Holly Robinson Peete.

Larry King video from last night: http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/bes...a.g20.long.cnn

Go down to the video snapshot section until you find “autism debate” sorry I'm not sure how to direct link it.

Wow, thanks for that link about the show with Holly Robinson Peete and Harvey Karp.

Holly is great, very informed and she states her case strongly. Kudos to her.

Interesting that they had a pediatrician call in, who told her story about having an autistic nephew, and stating very clearly that vaccines can be a trigger for predisposed individuals.

KARP CITES THE DENMARK STUDY! That's the best he can do? It's almost (but not quite) funny that he does that. Dr. Karp, you need to update your info, stat!

Looking forward to watching LKL later today.

Thanks for that. Holly is so well spoken. I wish that autism activists who were truly anti-vaccine didn't have to hide that fact and pretend like they love vaccines in order to have a chance in hell at getting heard.

I don't believe her for a second when she says she's not against vaccines. How could you not be when you look so closely at the facts and have seen firsthand what the shots can do to children? I seriously doubt she gave her next child any shots (even though she says she did.)

I don't believe that Jenny McCarthy supports vaccines either.

I'm with them...that we need to look at predisposition. But we also need to study vaccines in the long term and study vaccinated vs. non-vaccinated individuals. I wish they would bring up this issue.

Yay! I'm watching this now, and it's so exciting to see it get real airplay. It's so frustrating how covered-up the vaccine scandal is in our society.

I'm with previous posters who think Jenny is against vaccines. Obviously! I bet you her kid has never had another vaccine since the day she figured out the connection between vaccines and autism.

"I'm disappointed to hear such negative things against the AAP." LOLOLOLOL.

Oh yeah... Hep B realllllly damages soooo many babies. How many 2-day-olds do you know who get sexually transmitted diseases or diseases from using dirty needles?

I agree. I'd have to watch again, I don't recall if she said outright if she did indeed vaccinate anymore. I haven't watched last night's yet as I taped it.

At first I thought Karp was talking about Verstraeten Denmark study, but then he mentioned MMR. I thought the Verstraeten study was about thimerosal? Or was there one about the MMR too?

Just a reminder to speak to the issue rather than about the individuals. Thx!

Wow, honestly I'm not sure how to speak about this issue without discussing the individuals. The issue is a t.v. interview. But I'll try!
