my DD who is 7.5 months old we've been told has SCN http://www.ich.ucl.ac.uk/gosh_famili..._families.html
Her last neutrophil count was .06 which is very very low. What this means is a simple bacterial infection could kill her.
We're waiting on an antibody test which should be back in 1.5 weeks, if this is negative she will need a bone marrow biopsy.
She has never been sick, she is EBF and she also sleeps so much it's hard to go out for long so less exposure to germs
they got the immune panel back and 2 bits were low, what they mean exactly I'm still not sure, they said they need to repeat them
IGG 2.87 ( 3 is lowest of normal rage)
IGA low side of avg 0.11 (.15 lowest of normal range)
They are now pressuring us to give DD the hib, meng c and peun and any other vaccine we will allow. I'm not sure how I feel about this is I have been 100% dead against them.
I don't know enough to know what to do, anyone here with more info that may help us?
