Primose help

Thread Starter
I want to plant primroses in a semi-shady, perpetually damp spot in my garden. I want to plant them from seed, though, because they have to "work around" some permanent brickwork that is already in place.

Everything I have read says I have to start them in the house and transplant them, and that method won't work very well for my situation.

Help!

No one has any information for me?

Yellow Evening Primrose is a native plant in my area. It's a prolific self-seeder, so I'd say give it a try and see what happens.

just direct seed it and keep it nice and damp. if nothing comes up, you've only wasted a bit of time and a few dollars for the seeds/water.
