Agh! Both my Snappis are broken! What do I do?

My last Snappi broke this morning. Augh! I am trying to find someplace local that sells them, but no luck so far. Are diaper pins okay and do they even sell those anymore?? I only have like 3 pocket dipes that fit him--everything else is a prefold.

I sometimes just put the prefold in the cover and pull the wings as tight as I can then close the cover. It is not a trim fit, but it works in a pinch

I think I've seen diaper pins at several "brick and mortar" stores. If you use wrap-style covers you could try tri-folding too. If you don't have any wraps I might try using an un-stuffed pocket as a cover and line it with a tri-folded prefold.

unless you are going coverless you really dont need anything. try it! pull up styles are tougher than wrap styles, but its possible, just takes some practice!

Pins work great! Run them through your hair before you put them on and they'll slide right in. Easy peasy.

I always used pins, they always had them at the baby section of the grocery store. I stuck them in a bar of soap when I wasn't using them, it made them slide in easier.

They have pins at most places still by the crummy gerber prefolds. The secret to pinning (for me) is that you don't actually have to stick it completely through the diaper - that's why the diapers are multilayered. Once you get the hang of it it's sometimes easier than a snappi.
