% of unvaccinated people?

Does anyone know the percentage of unvaccinated people in the US? I'm doing a paper on this but I can't find any numbers.
If you do have a percentage, can you site the source?

Check the generation rescue website. I believe there is a PDF research study on the site about unvaccinated people. Good luck.

Depends on what you're looking for, though. How many adults does anyone know who is fully vaccinated to the present CDC schedule?

Fact is, there is a HUGE number of "unvaccinated" adults. People set their sights on all of the unvaccinated kids, without looking at the millions of adults that are not "up to date".

This is a good point. I don't consider myself pro-vaccine or anti-vaccine and dislike extreme perspectives on both sides, but one thing I always secretly want to ask heavily pro-vaccine people is 'Have you had your Tdap shot? Have you had your rubella titres checked? How about measles and mumps, just to be sure?' Being in the middle with my views, I avoid arguments that would ever lead to those kind of statements but it has crossed my mind.

I've thought about this, too. And what freaks me out is that I'm waiting for the day when this occurs to lawmakers and lobbyists. State laws might start to blackmail us like they blackmail our children, who "have" to have vaxes for schools and summer camp. Universities often require it, but I wonder if one day all employers will be required to do so? :

You know the only booster my Dr. has ever recommended was Tetanus.

The more I talk about not vaxing, the more I am finding people who aren't vaxing either. We are a nice little community.

And then there are the ones I find who believe that vaccinated children are keeping the adults healthy. :Got into this one on Friday.

I'm finding that everyone I work with who is 50+ has had measles and/or mumps and varicella. And their attitude is mostly "we didn't get vaxed for them". They stunk at the time, but we got through them.
