Just sharing a story that makes me smile

On Wednesday night I attended an evening committee meeting at my church. Our minister walked into the meeting a few minutes in holding her sweet 19 month old DD. There were 2 men and 3 women (including myself) in the meeting. She sat down, started to nurse her DD, and participated in the meeting very actively and articulately. After awhile, they switched sides while the minister continued to speak. Very sweet, very very natural. No one in the room blinked about it.

It's a little thing, but it makes the lactivist in me :

Don't we all wish for many more moments like this?

My priest (Episcopal) nursed all three of hers. I feel very supported in nursing at church even though I am the ONLY mother who does. The rest all bottle feed formula or pumped milk.
