In early labor....

Contractions woke me up at 12:30 and have so far continued to come. Still in bed, resting as much as I can before things get more intense.

Hopefully, this is the real deal!

Eta: nevermind. It all stopped.

Frustrated.

Hang in there. You know as well as any of us that it could all start right back up. I really hope it does. Maybe you at least dilated a lot in those 6 hours.

This happened to me too...just an April Fools joke I guess! On Wed I had ctx, hot flashes, pooping constantly, etc. The ctx seemed a little high to me to be the 'real thing' but in the past w/my other births, when I could not sleep and had a burst of energy and these symptoms.....I delivered that day. So 3 days later it has stopped and nothing. I was hoping to hold out till Sun anyway when I will be 37 weeks but I was really thinking it was The Day!!

So I feel your frustration. Hopefully things pick up for you.....and me!!

Been there. I know how hard it is. It will happen soon... and hopefully, your labor will be easier for it.

Hang in there, Mama! As you know, there's really no such thing as "false labor." Those contractions really were doing something, and hopefully your labor will be easier as a result!

Sorry mama. The same thing happened to me a couple nights ago. 6-7 hours of consistant, increasing contx and then it all stopped. It is frustrating huh?:

I have a newfound respect for all my clients that go through this prodromal stuff. I *knew* about it from textbooks, clients, friends, etc., but now I REALLY get how frustrating and discouraging it is.

I'm telling myself today... this experience will make me a better midwife.

LOL, my husband and I are Bradley teachers and we tell ourselves that each baby we have is more job experience!

That's a good way to look at it. I thought I was starting to go into labor a couple of nights ago, too. But, no. It's annoying.
