Looking for particular knit slipper pattern....help!

Okay, I've spent hours searching the web for a pattern for this slipper my grandmother used to make us every year. She's gone now, no idea who snagged the pattern, but I know my family would love to receive these again.

It was a double knit slipper, reversible. You could lay it on it's side and it would lay flat....it didn't keep foot shape. She usually put a pom pom on it.

It was very simple looking, but I'm a beginner with knitting and wouldn't know how to make it up just yet.

Any help out there?

I found one called bed shoes that might work. Since I don't crochet I would just leave off the ruffle. I'm sure the men would appreciate ruffleless slippers more.
