Did everyone see that both MI_Dawn and Mischeivium have updated on their posts today? Thought everyone would want to know.

Ahhhh yes, Thurs would work for me too.

I used coconut water (just from a can) for smoothies a couple times and didn't really notice any odd flavor in it, so maybe mixing in a banana and some frozen strawberries and stuff might make it work.

I feel so lethargic, I just want to sit doing nothing indefinitely. I think I keep getting dehydrated, I don't think about water until I'm dying of thirst (or go to the OB and pee in the cup and it looks like apple juice).

This is usually when I notice that I'm dehydrated too.

I did see that Mischievium and MI_Dawn updated their posts, Shine. Thanks for pointing it out so that everyone knows.

Nancy, I hope Peanut gives you a break soon!

I have a question - I have complained about this before, but my nipples are SO SORE! Does anyone else experience this? I keep thinking that I'm not even breastfeeding yet - oy vey! They are really really sore! I have already started using lansinoh cream!

Oh, I didn't realize that - but that's the day I've predicted for myself. My friend (a doula) actually told me there are more babies born on a new moon rather than a full moon, though...but hey, I'll take whatever works!

I've been having some major pressure on my cervix the past few hours, and some sharp pains that are definitely of the dilation variety. He feels lower and seems to be anterior for the moment. Engage, babe, and let's get goin!

Back ache. That's new... I hope this is all progress-related! Peanut stopped breakdancing, so now I can actually move.

I may be counting on it

Feels good to do something while ds is away and I have time to focus on a task.

Kate, that sucks about your mom.
Thanks, it does suck, but I think it will all work out. Good job on the chores .

However if you are having some "blockage issues" or needed to "clean out" I can see where it would be useful
no blockage...it seems like people have really mixed results with the c.o...hoping to not have to do it.

Does it feel like peanut is turning his/her head on your bladder? Mine did that for awhile...he head was resting right there and every time she turned it was a sharp pain. Could be you lo is trying to get into a better position and engage?

Well, there were a lot of posts and I can't keep up! I think I just need to sit in front of the computer all day.

Instead, I planted flowers, swept all the porches, cleaned the kitchen and folded and put away 4 loads of laundry. And various other bits. Ugh. I'm tired. Going to watch a show now and relax.

Yep. That's my guess.

Nips update- My nips are also very, very sore. They are manufacturing colostrum now too, which is a relief to me, just knowing its ready for baby. Oh and they are also ridiculously dark and big, I mean almost purple. Not the small maidenly light rosy nipples of my youth, that's for sure. I haven't started lansinoh or anything, just try to wear a protective bra to keep anything from brushing against them or from them being exposed to temperature change.

Boobies update- Oh and I tried on all my nursing bras the other day. I have 38DD nursing bras (generally from the ones I could still read the faded tags) and they are all way too small. I had the odd idea they made me look the shape of Paddington or Pooh bear. SO, now I'm going to have to figure something out. Like maybe ordering some online. Not an expense I want to incur at the moment, but my nursing bras get a lot of love, like a couple years worth or until they get all holey or a wire pops out. I just wish I had normal size bazoongas so I could go into a store and try them on and just leave with a decently priced bra that I know will fit versus having to search online blindly for a boulder-holder that may or may not fit and pay shipping and crazy prices. Well, scratch that, I just wish that more places carried nursing bras at all and that more places carried a bigger variety of sizes too.

If anyone has any nursing bra recommendations please let me know! preferably someplace with a liberal return policy because I generally have to try on like 10 bras before I can find even one I like.

michanders4,
My nipples are sore too! They were in the beginning, stopped hurting, and have been hurting again for the past few days. Must be hormonal.

wobblykate,
Hope your mom feels better and can be with you all soon. Tell that baby to wait for the full moon!

I had a hard week and just didn't feel like posting much - not that I ever get the chance it seems!

I started bleeding on Thursday morning while in the car and on the way to my weekly visit with MW. I was at a stoplight and felt a gush, and reached down - blood. Not mucous-ey, just blood. MW figured it could have been due to a straining BM I had before I left the house, but sent me to her back-up OB anyway. I had a u/s, fetal monitoring, and fun exam with speculum but no prodding. No previa or abruption was evident, but could not be ruled out. They sent me home on bedrest and now I'm on light activity - no laundry lifting, shopping bag lifting, vacuuming, etc. So my house is a mess and we have no groceries!

It was pretty darn scary. MW figures that I popped a blood vessel while straining during the BM and it makes sense, I wouldn't have expected large gushes of blood from that - neither did MW which is why she sent me for a u/s. If I bleed again, looks like I'll end up at the hospital.

So, first the GBS+, then the bleeding... *sigh* ...and the whole pregnancy has been so easy-peasy until now.

In happier news, dh did my bellycast yesterday and a photographer friend of ours took pro shots of babybelly, Isabella, and I on the day before. I can't wait to see how it all turns out. DH is a sculptor, and was more concerned about the inner surface of the cast than outer. He's planning to pour something more lasting and fun than plaster. I can't wait to see what he comes up with.

The weather here is divine, and our hammock is back up! Loving it...

Sorry to hear about the bleeding, herbanmama.

Yay for the belly cast!!!!

herbanmama, did anyone check for dilation? I remember that when my cervix dilated I bled.

I think belly casting is awesome and would LOVE to see a picture! Good for you!

Holy cow! Maybe this will inspire me to get some things DONE tomorrow!

Full Moon: My MW will be doing a home visit on Thursday evening - that would be convenient!
