Between being blonde (no offense to anyone, I joke it's a warning) and preggo--my memory is shot. And we were on vacation last week, so I wasn't on here much.

What are your plans for this birth?
I am having my first homebirth! : I have a midwife, and she has a birth pool. I'm not sure if I'll do a waterbirth or just for labouring. I love water.

Where do you live? Likes/Dislikes?
I live in North Dakota. I love it. I grew up down south originally. But I love the wide open spaces. This winter, well, as of right now, we are 1 1/2 inches below the all time record. I almost wish we'd get more snow, but I love the spring weather we've been having. The state has been having flooding, but fortunately we haven't been affected.

How did you meet your partner?
Hehe, I love this question. I was teaching his cousins at a small school,
(5 kids), and he helped me with math, I'd asked his brother, also single, who said ask him. I mentioned wanting to ride horses, and he invited me to go riding with him. This was in a town of 114 and most of the residents are over 60. So it was pretty amazing there was anyone my age.

I fell off the horse, sprained my ankle badly, he felt bad, got me flowers, we hung out for a month, I wasn't sure if he liked me, and we had a "define the relationship" conversation where we started dating, not just hanging out. We dated for 1 year and 20 days, got engaged on 9/11/05. He's the best thing that's every happened in my life, except for loving Jesus.

Did you/Do you have a career?
I have an Elementary Education degree and taught one year, but don't really like being the one in charge. I dream of becoming a midwife.

If you could go on vacation anywhere, where would it be?

How are you feeling at this stage of pregnancy? "Get this baby out!" or something else?

I want to go to Ireland someday, and Australia would be neat too. Di you know you can check Ayers Rock out on GoogleEarth?

AGGGH, 5 weeks is all I have left! I'm not ready! Well, my apt. isn't ready. For doing a homebirth, I want it cleaner and to have a place where the midwives and MIL can rest.
I am totally a messie. I do have diapers(cloth) and clothes all ready. I need to order my birthkit yet tho'. We're waiting for DD's bed to come anyway and set it up in our room. Poor DH has been sleeping badly in the middle, but it's been nice to have him taking care of her in the middle of the night and only getting up when I really have to pee!

I was going to say emotionally, I am really ready and excited. I'm looking forward to this birth being better than DD's and catching the baby myself, looking at him(or her) {but I think boy,} having DD there during or soon after.

I do need to talk to DH and MIL about what I want during labour as far as DD being there, and make some support notes for DH.

I'm excited, but I'm a little dreading how much harder it will be with a newborn and a busy toddler. It's easy to carry him around now, but I have missed nursing DD. Quit about 3 weeks ago. That's been really hard for me. She asks once in a while, and I say nunnies are owie. I want to tandem, but am a little nervous.
